Editing Aversion Syndrome (EAS®)

 

EAS affects many beginning writers or writer's suffering from chronic arrogance or Delusional Grandeur Syndrome®. Many writers want to emulate Anne Rice and will only edit their own work.

 

Dr. Wright believes that having a good line and content editor is the only way a writer will create the best end product, but many writers have a strong aversion to editing. Dr. Wright helps the writer see the editor as his friend, even though he or she wields the red pen of death.
